Level 31.3× to under 1.5×66+2050

High-wage work points are added on top of your Canadian work-length points. Job offer points are an alternative: IRCC gives you whichever option scores higher, not both. The list is based on 2023–2025 data from Job Bank, the Labour Force Survey and the Census. The level is set by the NOC's national median wage — not your personal salary.

Frequently asked questions

Does my salary decide whether I'm in a high-wage occupation?+

No. IRCC sets the level using the median wage of everyone in Canada working in that NOC, not your individual pay.

What if the list changes after I get an ITA?+

IRCC says it keeps using the level that applied on the date you were invited, even if your NOC later moves levels or is removed.

My job isn't on the list. Do I lose my Canadian work points?+

No. Work-length points (up to 80) still apply for qualifying TEER 0–3 Canadian experience. You just don't get the extra high-wage points, and a job offer in that NOC earns no CRS points (though it may still count for FSW or FST eligibility).

Can I combine experience from several high-wage jobs?+

Yes. IRCC says the 12 months can be continuous or not, full-time or an equal amount of part-time, and combined across more than one eligible high-wage job — with hours capped at 30 per week if jobs overlap.
